Our Story

Madera Noble – Woodworks Costa Rica – is a family owned and operated business in Guanacaste. Three generations of artisans have been transforming wood into beautiful and timeless pieces of furniture.

Both of our grandfathers were fine woodworkers who specialized in bespoke pieces. Ramon, pictured here, was also an oxcart maker, which demanded both engineering and artistry.

After many years living and working in the Central Valley of Costa Rica, we decided to relocate to Nambí, Guanacaste, a small town between Nicoya and Santa Cruz. The dry north pacific weather of Guanacaste allows for beautiful woods, from teak, to guanacaste to cedar, that we use in our projects here at Madera Noble – Woodworks Costa Rica.
